The Hidden Cost of Your Head-Trash
How much energy do you spend fighting negative thoughts?
I didn't realize how much of my own energy was being consumed by internal conversations until recently. Thoughts like "I'm not enough," "I should be further along by now," or "I don't have what it takes" can become so familiar that they start to sound true.
Janine recently shared a simple tool that has been helping her and many others deal with what she calls "head trash."
The question is simple: What if the Bible is actually true?
Most of us would immediately say, "Of course it's true." But do we actually live like it's true?
When negative thoughts start stealing our peace, joy, or confidence, what happens if we stop focusing on the thoughts and instead ask, "What if this scripture is true for me right now?"
What if God really has given you everything you need for what's in front of you? What if He really is near, even when you don't feel Him? What if His promises carry more weight than the thoughts running through your head?
I've found that the moment I begin agreeing with God's truth, the lies start losing their power.
The result isn't just better thinking. It's more peace. More joy. More energy for the things that actually matter.
If you've been carrying around some head trash lately, this week's blog and podcast will give you a simple, practical tool to help you replace the lies with truth and recover the energy that discouragement has been stealing. Listen to the full podcast episode and read the blog below:
