You Are Part of This

After 15 years of Heaven in Business, one thing is becoming increasingly clear: information alone isn’t enough. We need relationship, discipleship, and people to walk alongside us.

Following Jesus in the intersection of faith, family, and business can be messy. There is pressure, conflict, correction, failure, growth, and what Andy calls “covenant friction.” But often, that friction is exactly where God forms us.

And that raises a practical question:

Who has God already placed in front of you?

It’s easy to think about impact somewhere else, a new initiative, ministry, trip, or opportunity. But your greatest opportunity for Kingdom impact may already be around you: your employees, coworkers, customers, spouse, children, and community.

You don’t need a bigger platform to begin. Start with the people God has already entrusted to you.

Put It Into Practice

• Pray: Ask God to give you His heart for the people you are called to serve.
• Pay attention: Who around you needs encouragement, investment, or someone willing to listen?
• Invest intentionally: Choose one person and help them grow. Share what you’re learning, encourage them, ask questions, and walk with them.
• Multiply: Take something God is teaching you and give it away.

The same principle is shaping the next season of Heaven in Business and the Hope Directive, from Zimbabwe and Mozambique to Brazil and beyond. The goal isn’t simply more events or information. It’s relationships that strengthen people who can strengthen others.
