Called to the Marketplace Andy Mason

Next week I'll be doing a presentation for Patrice Tsague and Nehemiah Week. They are doing a phenomenal work and worthy of you checking them out - En.NehemiaheCommunity.com

In this post I will give you a summary of the presentation on three key components of being Called to the Marketplace. If you want to download a copy of the handout/notes, simply click here (Heaveninbusiness.com/called).

Calling is another name for vocation. So what is your calling? What work has God called you to do? He always equips and anoints us to do the work he created us for. So when we know, embrace and stay in our calling we will experience great fruit - fruit that remains!

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, that He prepared in advance for us to walk in. Ephesians 2:10

Before jumping into how to know and align with your calling, it is really important to know that 'life is about learning to experience how much God loves us; not proving how much we love Him" (Doug Hignell). When we try to work for God's love and acceptance we always come short. When we realize that He FIRST loved us and calls us with loving kindness (see Jeremiah 31:3), everything changes. I GET TO work from love not for love. I work FROM identity and value, not FOR identity and value. For more on this, grab a free copy of God With You at Work by clicking here.

1. Know Your Calling

If you don't know what you were born for, you will always feel something is missing. When you know and align your life and business or work with what you were born for, you find a joy and delight and power that goes beyond our understanding.

The first key in knowing your calling is doubling down on the first statement above.

"Your first calling is not to accomplish something for God; it is to God Himself" Bill Johnson

The earth is groaning in anticipation of the sons and daughters of God to be revealed; not servants or slaves. Jesus paid the ultimate price for a family, not a workforce.

2. Embrace Your Calling

3. Stay in Your Calling
