My Source of Success?

Do you wonder what the future holds for your business? Are you asking yourself what to do in the face of so much uncertainty and unrest? I’m the same, but in the midst of this I hear God asking, “Who is your source of supply?” If I'm waking up in the night freaking out, I know I’m looking to myself as my source. If my trust is in God, I am kept in perfect peace. So what does your level of peace or anxiety tell you about where you have your trust?

A couple of days ago, one of the Heaven in Business team woke up thinking of Matthew 4:4,

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”

At our team meeting the following morning, I shared how God was speaking the same to me. I also shared Matthew 6:9,11, “This is how to pray… give us this day, our daily bread.” Bread is NOT what sustains us; it is God’s word IN and THROUGH the bread. Bread is also a metaphor for all things that feed us… business, cashflow, vitality, affirmation… Is my source the ‘bread’ or the voice of God in and through the bread?

Source just got burned?

Recently our Heaven in Business online platform was mistakenly terminated. This thoroughly destroyed one our significant income streams and created a ton of anxiety. We rushed to pivot and rebuild but in the midst of this I heard God asking, “Who is your source?” If the online platform was my Source I had every reason to be VERY ANGRY and ANXIOUS. If God was my Source; if it was HE who truly lead me and sustained me, then this was going to be ok. We WILL find a solution AND anxiety is replaced with peace (albeit amidst hard work) in the process.

As I lead the Heaven in Business team and listen for God’s voice, He instructs me day by day and strengthens me to make decisions (see Psalm 32:8 and 37:18).

Whatever you are facing right now, reset your belief that God CARES for you. As you align your belief and perspective with this Nature, confidence is released within you to know that whatever you're facing, you can trust Him. He cares for you and holds your future. He helps you navigate through whatever challenge you face. Our online platform disaster forced us to reposition ourselves to pivot. As I look at the result I am realizing this is going to be BETTER than before! What is even more rewarding is the deeper connection I feel from a fresh revelation that God CARES for me… and my team… and you!

So, who is your source?

If you are anxious and uptight, receive that feedback – your source is something other than God Himself. Now hear the invitation to realign with God as your Source. You can trust that He cares for you. You can now believe that He will supply what you need by listening to His Voice.  You don’t live by a business deal alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. His Word sustains you. He is your source. He has your back. This is going to work out good.
